About this Space

Who are you?

By day (uhm, or night, since I work during odd hours), I am a corporate employee currently heading a team of talented trainers responsible for training delivery and procuring training programs. In between dealing with clients and internal customers, I spend weekends dreaming about places I want to visit and let my mind wander for hours and hours. I dream of traveling around my country, there's just so much beauty to see. And I have the endless seat sales to thank for, and my persistence in looking for these rates. Growing up, summer always meant traveling to my parents' province. Traveling was an overnight boat ride (fast crafts weren't conceptualized that time yet) and a bumpy 3 hour bus ride to a southern province in Leyte. I used to not like the whole activity since I get sea sick when in a boat when I was a kid and my pancake flat bum gets even flatter during the bus ride. But that was just an initial reaction, arrival in the province meant daily and easy access to the beach... a mere 5-10 minute ride using my bike. And island hopping for a day with the clan. It was during those times that my love affair for the beach started. But I don't know how to swim, and I am an aquarian. Ironic, eh?

Since traveling is a luxury I can't afford every weekend, I get busy feeling like Martha Stewart. The cupcake and craft version of herself, of course.  :)

I also dream of being a travel/landscape/food photographer. I am new at this, you see. Currently a work in progress.

What do you write about?

I write about things that make me happy: my journey through learning photography, "cupcaking" and the quest to see the world among other things. The fairly average normality of this life. This blog will not contain drama about life. Everyone's going through something, might as well make this little space a happy one.

 Who would read this blog?

Good question, aside from myself... I don't have any idea. I'd like to think there's someone out there reading this :) But if there's no one, that's ok. I won't stop this blog because of that. :)

Photography, food, adventures and travel to please my insatiable restless feet.
Jill of all trades, well, most of them.
